i love instagram!  it is so fun to connect and learn about people via the photos they post.  kinda bummed that facebook decided to buy the company.  that mark zuckerberg better not add poking or other lame things to a great app.  

i posted the below picture recently.  it is one of my favorites.  taken from rockefeller center on a warm spring day.  you like?

of course i took my camera along for the walk through the park on saturday.  after brunch took some pics with gooch in attendance.  i appreciated her willingness to be my profile model while i tested out composition.  let me know what you think of my newest pics to the gallery.

i haven't shared something from my "pathways" series in more than a year.  figured it was past time to be reminded why i enjoy taking pictures of this amazing city.  just need it to be warmer so it isn't so difficult to be outside for hours.

photography is my new hobby. i've been teaching myself lighting, composition and am now trying my hand at editing. my skill level is completely novice but it gives me a goal to work towards improving my abilities.

my favorite subject matter is the pathways that are found throughout the city, primarily in Central Park. occasionally i'm going to post one of my new favorites that i've worked on. please let me know what you think.
